Dr Abhijit Shivdas Thakur consults in pain management for all patients — men and women alike — with an emphasis on assessing concerns carefully and discussing suitable next steps.

He sees patients of any gender. His consultations cover pre-anaesthesia check-ups (PAC) and pre-operative fitness assessments, anaesthesia-related queries and counselling, back and neck pain, joint and musculoskeletal pain, chronic and neuropathic pain, and interventional pain management. Consultations are available in the evening by prior appointment.

A few practical things.

The clinic works by appointment. If you are unsure which consultant to see, get in touch and the clinic can help you decide.

Bring what you have: Previous reports, prescriptions, scans or test results related to your concern are helpful, even if they are from some time ago.
Note down your questions: A short note about when the concern started, what you have already tried and what you would like to understand can make the consultation more useful.
Tell us what you need: If you need to reschedule, or have an access or comfort requirement, contact the clinic in advance so it can be arranged.
